Deanna Jackson - the best power forward in last season of FIBA EuroCup, signed with CSKA for the next season. She has 110 games in WNBA with the teams of Indiana and Chicago. She was born on December 15, 1979.
Deanna is fast becoming a fan favourite in the teams she is playing thanks to her charm and vitality. Until now she has only two season in Europe - in Israel where last season she became the best player at Position 4 in FIBA EuroCup thanks to her average of 17.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 12 games.
"By signing Deanna Jackson I'm hoping that we're executing the desire of our coach for a big class player at the power forward position. I'm sure this is a player from the biggest possible class that we can have for the next season" is the opinion of General Manager Emil Cohen for this transfer.
