The Bulgarian Boyko Mladenov will make his first appearance for KK Split in the next game from the Adriatic League in the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana, Sunday at noon, 13:00 Bulgarian time. Their opponent is going to be Olimpija, who are currently occupying the third place and are aiming at a higher position before the end of the regular stage of this championship. With only four rounds to go, KK Split doesn’t stand a great chance to be one of the teams to ensure a spot in the League’s Playoffs.
Mladenov arrived in Split last night and tomorrow is leaving for Ljubljana with the team. The best player for the Croatians Marlon Garnett, drops out of the group for the match due to an ankle injury he received during one of the recent practices. The same goes for Hrvoje Peric who will miss the game because of an illness. However, Deyan Ivanov, the other Bulgarian in the team is going. He gives a continuously good performance with 11.4 points and 6.1 rebounds in 25.4 minutes per game. He hasn’t missed a game for KK Split this season.
