Overgas smashed Dunav and get into the best four in A group

The young players of Overgas playing in A group recorded their second win defeating the visiting Dunav 98-68.
The hosts started well and took a quick 5-0 lead and shortly after moved ahead 18-3. Then the first quarter was easily won 25-9.
The second quarter continued to be under the control of the hosts. The margin was growing up and after just 15 minutes went over 20 points. The visitors were making a lot of mistakes in the first half and they scored only 19 points against 44 for their home team.
In the second half nothing changed and the lead never went down under 20. The visitors however won the third quarter 24-23 scoring more points that in the first 20 minutes. In the last quarter Overgas only confirmed the win by a total of 30 points.
Top scorer for the team from Sofia was Ventsislav Petkov who finished with 21. Ivaylo Vasilev added 14 while Mihael Tanev 10 with both of them grabbing 8 rebounds.
Only five players scored for Dunav. Venelin Parvanov was the top scorer with 29 but to reach it he needed a total of 26 shots. Yuri Kazasov scored 12 while Simeon Savov added 11 but also with low percentage.
After this Overgas is on 4th place with 2 wins and 2 losses and in the next round will play again in Triaditsa hall but this time as a guest against Slavia Termostren.
