Marcus Haislip (207-F-80, college: Tennessee) is expected to arrive to Athens tomorrow to finalize his deal with Panathinaikos. The 29-year-old forward started the season in the NBA. He averaged 2.5 points and 1.0 rebounds per game for the San Antonio Spurs.
Marcus Haislip was released in January and injured-plagued Panathinaikos came up with their proposal.
Last season Marcus Haislip spent in Spain. He played for Unicaja Malaga tallying 10.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per Euroleague game. In ACB Haislip notched 15.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per appearance.
