Lukoil Academic won its 8th straight win in the championship and confirmed the first place. The champions had no problems defeating Rilski Sportist 96-71 away. By this win they took revenge for the loss in Yambol during the Cup Finals a month ago, and for the one in Samokov earlier in the season.

Lukoil Academic took a big lead in the first half and held on to it. With strong play in defense the champions took a 15-23 lead after the first quarter and then in the second increased it further and were up 31-56 at the break.

So with the winner already decided in the first half, in the second both teams really had to only wait for the buzzer to sound. After the next 20 minutes the difference remained the same and Lukoil took this win at home.

Willie Deane had very strong performance for the winners and finished with 31 points and 6 rebounds. Chavdar Kostov added 24 and Pero Antic had double double - 14 points and 12 rebounds.

For the hosts the captain Aleksandar Gruev was once again the top performer with 24 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds. Bogdan Boev added 19 points and Simeon Naydenov had 11.
