Lukoil Academic out of FIBA EuroChallenge
Lukoil Academic is out of FIBA EuroChallenge. The team lost the third and deciding 1/4 final game away to Krka Novo mesto 69-71 and lost in this round. Thanks to this win Krka advanced to Final 4 while the Bulgarian champs are out of the competition.
Lukoil had the lead for most of the game, but at times Krka was in front as well. The hosts took a 64-63 lead with 3.30 minutes to play. The last possessions of the game were very dramatic but unfortunately Lukoil couldn`t hold on at the end and lost.
Devin Green had 20 points and 7 rebounds for the Bulgarian team while Brandon Heath added 16 points.
