Slavia signed a one-year deal with Antonia Zagorova
Slavia signed center Antonia Zagorova to a one-year deal. The 21-year old player will play for The Whites in the new season of NBL Women. She arrives from Beroe 07 Stara Zagora. With the green jersey she averaged 4.1 ppg and 5.4 rpg. She started last season with Levski Sofia registering 4.2 ppg and 3.8 rpg there.
Zagorova is the second new player on Slavia’s roster. The club signed point guard Stanislava Stankova earlier this week. Stankova played for Levski during the 2010/2011 season, but she sustained a back injury and missed the entire second half of the season. Now she is recovered and ready to play for her new team. In 13 games with The Blues last season she had 15.8 ppg and 3.3 apg.
