Dunav Ruse landed Amanda Johnson
Dunav 8806 Ruse signed their first new player for the 2012/2013 season. Amanda Johnson will play for the Bulgarian champions and thiswill be her first European experience. She is 187 cm tall and plays as a forward.
Johnson played for the University of Oregon for the last four years and in her senior year she averaged 18.0 points, 9.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.6 steals per game. She was drafted by the Connecticut Sun in the 3rd round of this year′s WNBA draft and her rights were subsequently traded to the Phoenix Mercury.
"She′s an exciting player and I think shell help our team", said the Dunav head coach Georgi Bozhkov.
