Beroe Stara Zagora defeated Levski Sofia at home
Beroe Stara Zagova got a first victory in the NBL for women after crushing Levski Sofia 76-57. The players of head coach Albena Bachkova started the game great and led the way early in the first quarter. After halftime the gap became 20 points and the hosts easily got the victory.
Beroe Stara Zagora was better at rebounding and shooting from long range. The team also turned the ball over 6 times less than its opponent. Bilyana Savic scored 19 points and added 9 rebounds for the winners. Radostina Dimitrova finished with a double double – 17 points and 11 rebounds.
For Levski Hristina Ivanova netted 19 points and with 12 finished Victoria Stoycheva.
In the third round of the regular season Beroe Stara Zagora goes against Haskovo 2012 and Levski will face Rilski Sportist.
