National team coach Pini Gershon left satisfied from the game between Balkan and Levski in semifinal playoffs in Botevgrad. He saw the match from the first row in the gym together with one of his assistants Titi Papazov.

“First I would like to say that the atmosphere was great. I believe better team won despite their best player is 37 years old. As far as I know it is very hard to beat Lukoil Academic in Bulgaria, so this game for them was like winning the championship,” said Pini Gershon for Gong.

Izraeli coach also said that he is very pleased with the play of Asen Velikov from Levski who had a great game and finished with 24 points.
“Point guard of Levski Velikov played very good. Unfortunately his team lost but he was very good in this game. He makes me think what kind of foreigner we have to bring. I need to think about it,” finished Gershon.
