Bilbao Basket last qualifier for Group stage of Eurocup

Bizkaia Bilbao Basket beat BC Donetsk 90-79, edging the visitors in a thrilling finish to advance to the Eurocup Regular Season. The winners will join Spirou Basket, Spartak St. Petersburg and Turk Telekom in Group E.
Donetsk entered the game with an 8-point cushion after its 71-63 home win in Game 1, but it took Bilbao exactly 3:47 to erase the deficit and claim a 9-0 lead. Bilbao dominated the second period held a seemingly comfortable 22-point lead at the break, but Donetsk responded with a monster 12-29 third quarter and regained control of the game and the series.
In the end, Bilbao had what it took to pull out the series in the last minutes, led by Marko Banic's game-high 28 points.
Chris Warren scored 17 while Alex Mumbru and Javi Salgado added 13 and 12, respectively.
