Dunav 8806 keeps its star player

The winner of the Cup of Bulgaria in 2011 Dunav 8806 managed to re-sign a fan favourite - American guard-forward Charel Allen. Club President Krasimir Stefanov confirmed that she will play for the team from Ruse for yet another season.
This will be her 3rd consecutive season with the Bulgarian team. In 2010-2011 she was Dunav′s undisputed best player with 15.5 ppg, 6.3 rpg and 2.2 apg in 33 games. She helped the team win the national Cup, as well as the bronze medals in the play-offs.
Dunav 8806 had already secured the services of local veterans Zornitsa Kostova and Hristina Minkova, keeping them for another season, and also signed another American player - Adrienne Johnson.
