[b]Slobodan Nikolic[/b] was presented to the players and to the press yesterday as the new coach of Lukoil Academic.He is coming as winner of Czech Republic champion from last season with BC Opava.Together with later this month will be joining Jan Pavlik from BC Brno.He is current member of the national team of Czech Republic.25 years old guard spent last 7 seasons with his former team but agreed to join the champion of Bulgaria for the new upcoming season.
[i]"Our goal will be to play well in Europe.Our team is in very strong group in ULEB Cup but we have our chances.I can't wait to to see all players here to start my program"[/i] said Slobodan Nikolic after the practice.He was one of the very good players of Red Star Belgrade back in the ninetees and also spent quite time playing for Spartak(Plama when he played for them)(Pleven) in Bulgaria.
