Petko Marinov one more year in Lukoil Neftochimic

Petko Marinov will continue to be Lukoil Neftochimic head coach after re-signing for one more season. He started his career in Burgas women team in 2004 and before that was in charge of Lukoil Academic between 2001 and 2003. Under his guidance Lukoil Academic won one title in 2003 and one second place in 2002, won two times the Cup of Bulgaria - 2002 and 2003 and won the first place in Fiba Champions Cup South Conference Final Four in 2003.
During his years in Lukoil Neftochimic the team won two titles and two cups and this 2006/2007 season they became second in both tournaments.
One of the most successful Bulgarian coaches was in charge of Women National team during the European qualifications last year.
It's not yet clear whether the team will participate in European competition next season. The selection in the team continues and the preparation for the new season starts in August.
