Maccabi Ramat Hen with Ekaterina Dimitrova in its lines won their last friendly game before the start of the Israeli women’s first division. They defeated the strong team of Hapoel Tel Aviv with 68-56 as guests. The names of the WNBA stars Viki Holl and Chandy Johnes are shining in their roster.
Dimitrova spent 30 minutes on the court and finished with 12 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and was the main responsible for the success of her team. The Americans Tasha Terry (18 points) and Edwina Brown (17 points) were the ones to score most.
After a few seasons in Italy, Dimitrova went to Israel this summer. In Thursday is the first game of the championship of the country and Maccabi Ramat Hen host Rahanana. The championship seems to be very strong as a couple of teams will fight for winning it. Among them is Dimitrova’s team as well.
