Brazilian center Murilo Da Rosa signed with Lukoil Academic until the end of the season. He will be the first brazilian player to play in Bulgaria.

He was loaned from Maccabi Tel Aviv as they signed him for multiyear contract. The management of Lukoil Academic agreed with the terms with the izraeli grand during the tournament in Cyprus earlier this month.

Thanks do Da Rosa Brazil won the Pan American games in the summer. He averaged 15.2 points and 7.4 rebounds in 5 games as he finished on sixth place in both categories.

During the FIBA Americas championship Da Rosa averaged 6.7 points and 4.2 rebounds per contest.
Murilo Da Rosa is expected to arrive this coming Monday, October 22 and join the team.
