Lukoil Academic not match for Rilski Sportist

The champions from Lukoil Academic took second win of the season after destroying Rilski Sportist 94-63 in the second round of NBL.

The first half of the game was even. The visitors were playing very good and even took the lead after the first quarter, 20-21. In the middle of the second quarter Lukoil made an 8-0 run that made the score 39-29. However the visitors didn't give up and were still very close at the break 45-38.

The game was decided in the third quarter when Lukoil increased its advantage to 19 points at the end of it. The last one was a nightmare for Rilski Sportist. The team didn't score in the first 7 minutes of the quarter. Of course in the same time the players of Lukoil were entertaining most of the people in the gym and increased their advantage.

Five players scored in double figures for the winners. Ernest Brown scored 18 points, Marko Djerasimovic - 16, Branko Mirkovic - 15, Walker Russell - 13 and Isaac Wells - 11.

For the visitors good words can be said only about David Burgess with 14 points and 9 rebounds and Georgi Davidov with 13 points.
