The team of Rilski Sportist achieved their first win from the beginning of the championship in front of their own fans in Samokov. After missing to do so in the previous three home games, the players of head coach Petko Delev beat Sliven with 93-72.

The hosts started a little better the game and took an advantage of 7 points fast. The visitors realized where they are and came back into the game, with the first period being very long and nervous, full of personal faults. However, it ended 33-21 in favour of Rilski Sportist. In the beginning of the second period, Rilski maintained the advantage and went to the locker rooms with 12 points advance (51-39).

At this moment as if the winner was clear. Nothing changed until the final whistle and Rilski continued controlling the game, with the difference moving from 10 to 15 points. At the end of the third quarter it grew to 74-55.

The last period was only for the official score sheet as the hosts were already leading by 20 points. In the last minutes, Petko Delev gave chance to some of the younger players of Rilski, but they could not score.

Miko Golubovic was the one to score most for the hosts with his 17 points. Four other players finished with more than 10 points.
For the guests from Sliven, only Lawrence Sharrett and Nikolay Dinev performed good, scoring 17 points each.
