Armani Jeans Milano signs ex-NBA player Jumaine Jones

Armani Jeans Milano has announced the arrival of forward Jumaine Jones, who inked a one-year deal with an option to extend it until the end of the 2009-10 season. Jones (201, 29) arrives from Eldo Basket Napoli, where he averaged 17.9 points and 8.5 rebounds in 26 Italian League games last season, becoming the fourth top scorer in the competition. Napoli has been his first team in Europe, as Jones had a long career in the NBA, playing exactly 500 games in 8 seasons. Jones has played for the Philadelphia 76ers, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Boston Celtics, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Charlotte Bobcats and the Phoenix Suns. He helped Phildelphia to make it to the 2001 NBA finals. Jones has also been a member of the United States national team, winning the 1998 Goodwill Games.
