Cherno More IG is one win away from getting bronze medals in Men 65th championship. Earlier today they use a big third quarter run to win 91 – 76. After the half time score was 39 apiece in quarter number three the players of coach Spas Natov outplayed the visitors by 16 (30 – 14) and decided the game in their favor.
Cherno More IG played in the Final last year but after several players left their club at the end it’s a big success for them to even play in the game for 3/4 Place. They ended fifth after regular season but surprised Levski in the First Round of the Playoffs before being eliminated from Lukoil Academic in the Semifinals.
Aleksandar Bojic scored 23 points and added 12 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks and 2 steals to led all home players on their way to the victory. Bogdan Boev had 19 points while Sinisa Avramovski and Leven Belberov ended with 13 points apiece.
For Spartak Pleven only two players scored in double figures - Hrisimir Dimitrov with 34 and Ed McCants with 18 points.
Second game from the best of three series will be this coming Saturday, May 19 in Pleven.
