WNBA center signed with CSKA

Kara Brown-Braxton signed contract with CSKA for 2007/2008 season. She is known as one of the top three talented centers in WNBA. She was born on February 18th, 1983 and is 198 cm tall.
Her career started in 2001 in Georgia in NCAA where she played until 2004. In 2005 she signed for Detroit Shock in WNBA where Braxton played 33 games. During 2005/2006 season she played in Poland for Wisla Krakow, becoming champion that year. She was named Center of the year in the championship. In the same season she played in the Euroleague where she had excellent results.
After the strong season in Europe Braxton was called up in US National Team and in the summer of 2006 returned to Detroit in WNBA, playing 44 games and becoming for first time in her career WNBA Champion. For 2006/2007 season Braxton returned to Europe but this time to play for Besiktas in Turkey where she won the National Cup with the team. Currently she is again playing for Detroit.
