New signing for Lukoil Neftochimic

Lukoil Neftochimic signed with Bosnian player Amra Mehmedic. She is 177 cm tall and was born on November 21, 1981 in Zenica. Her first professional games were for local Zeljezara Zenica where she was averaging 22 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists per game. In 2000 she went to USA to play for St. Joseph Hawks University in Philadelphia. There Mehmedic played 103 games in 4 years. She had 29 minutes per game and average of 9 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
In 2006 she returned to her home country where she signed for local ZKK Spars Sarajevo. She was one of the leading players in Bosnian championship averaging 18 points and 5 assists per game. Mehmedic is also part of her country's National team. Her season in Lukoil Neftochimic will be her second in Europe after that last year in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
It's not yet clear whether the star from last season Dionne Brown will renew her contract. With expired contract are also Anna Sokolan, Elena Petrova and Kamelia Mihalkova while Rositsa Karoleva retired from playing basketball.
