Andre Hudson in Efes Pilsen
Efes Pilsen has officially announced that power forward Andre Hutson will play for them until the end of ther 2008-09 season.
Hutson (202, 28) arrives from Panionios Forthnet, where he averaged 14.1 points and 8.8 rebounds in 24 Greek League games last season. He visit Sofia last year while his team played versus CSKA in FIBA Eurocup.
He has also played for Ural Great in Russia, Makedonikos and Maroussi in Greece, as well as for Napoli in Italy. Hutson shined in the 2004-05 ULEB Cup, averaging 16.3 points and 8.2 rebounds in 15 games, joining forces with Pete Mickeal to take Makedonikos all the way to the title game against Lietuvos Rytas. He also made it to the 2004 Greek League final with Maroussi, as well as reaching the 2001 NCAA final four with Michigan State.
Efes Pilsen lost the final series last year from Fenerbahce 0-4. They hired recenly David Blatt as the head coach of their team.
