Spartak Pleven recorded a easy win at home in a game from 13th round in Bulgarian championship. In Balkanstroy hall the hosts defeated Dunav 2007 90-71.
In front of 700 spectators Spartak started stronger, as expected, in order to gain good advantage at the beginning. They managed to take the lead and kept an advantage to close the first quarter 27-18. The second quarter was a bit different. The visitors from Ruse didn't give up and managed to cut their deficit with three points, 44-38 at the half.
After the break the players of Spartak set their superiority and decided the game in their matter. They won the quarter 22-11 and practically by this the game as well. In the last quarter there was nothing to play for and at the end Spartak recorded 8th win in this season.
Hrisimir Dimitrov was again the best player as he finished with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. He was helped by Sasha Topchov who scored 16 and three other players who passed the 10-point mark.
