Open letter from the agency AMI, represented Ludmil Hadjisotirov
"As regards the situation of Ludmil Hadjisotirov, basketball player of CSKA Sophia, we want to inform Bulgarian media the following:
- The Player hasn't been paid the salaries corresponding to the last two months.
- The contract signed by the Player, the Agency and the Club allows the Player to refrain from rendering any services to the Team until the full amount owed to him has been paid by the Club.
- The Player has exercised that option and won't continue practicing and playing any official game until the Club has paid all salaries owed to the Player.
- Neither the Player nor the Agency have received any official communication about the Club breaking the contract and releasing the player.
- The only communication made by the Club to the player was made verbally, informally and through non-authorized people, which cannot be considered as legally acceptable.
- The contract signed by the CSKA officials, the Player and the Agency doesn't contain any clause that allows the Club to release the Player unilaterally. As such, the Player is still under contract until its formal
termination.
- The Agency and the Player will do whatever it takes legally to defend and protect the rights of the Player in the terms specified in the Contract.
- The Agency won't allow any public statement that would put the attitude, the professionalism and the honor of our Client in jeopardy.
We hope that this open letter can be helpful to everyone to have a better knowledge of what's the situation right now and to avoid any misunderstanding regarding the absence of the Player in team practices and
games.
We are open for any question regarding this issue, as our only target is to protect and defend our Player's rights and reputation, always respecting all the parts involved.
Sincerely,
Natxo Mendaza
