Leven Belberov will again be playing in Rilski Sportist and this will be the last transfer for the team. After he played in season 2005/2006 in Samokov then he went to Varna and played two seasons with Cherno More.
In his career Belberov has played in Linz, Queluz, Montpellier and Bulgarian teams Academic and Spartak Evroins MVR.
Despite being now 34 years old Belberov is still performing very well in Bulgarian championship. Last season he played 43 games for Cherno More averaging 12.9 points in 28.1 minutes per game. He added also 3.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.8 steals.
Today Belberov departed with his new teammates for Turkey where they will play 4 friendly games. Except him the new names in the team are Travis Peterson, Bogdan Boev, Ivan Nikolov and Dragoslav Papic.
Rilski Sportist will be one of Bulgaria's representatives in the newly formed Balkan League and will be part also of the National Basketball League in Bulgaria.
