CSU “Cuadripol” Brasov replace Rapid Bucharest
CSU “Cuadripol” Brasov in BIBL

Due to serious financial problems, BC “Rapid” Bucharest is not able to participate in the upcoming 2008/09 season of the BIBL. After having a meeting with the general manager of the club and having understood the crisis they are standing at, the sports director of BIBL Shay Shtriks along with the Romanian Basketball Federation decided for the benefit of all the clubs and the BIBL to take BC “Rapid” Bucharest out from the League.
The second team to represent Romania in the BIBL Season 2008/09 will be CSU “Cuadripol” Brasov. Mr. Shtriks will travel to Romania in the beginning of next week to have meeting with the management of the club and Romanian Basketball Federation as well.
“I do believe that the decision we took is for the good sake of the BIBL and for all the participants”, said Mr. Shtriks.
According to the latest information CSU “Cuadripol” Brasov is making very good selection for the new season. They already announced the signing of Alex Hartman, Enes Hadjibulic, Rashaun Broadus, Andrei Mandache, Isleam Senai and will have a very good and competitve team.
